Sudokkho has started piloting social marketing campaign titled ‘Somriddhir Ogrojatra’ (march for progress) with its partner PTPs. Social marketing concept for Sudokkho is designed mainly on GSI perspectives. The aim of the campaign is to reach the community with the message of availability of demand driven competency-based training in the market and convert social followers into qualified leads in the market system development process and new businesses.
The first event of the pilot campaign was organised by Learn to Earn, a partner PTP of Sudokkho. The event was organised in Mirpur sector one area of Dhaka. Aspirant trainees and their family members, influential community members, successful graduates participated in the event. The participants from the community were informed and sensitised on the benefit of skills training and importance of women becoming skilled and employed.
Sudokkho has plans for a wider rollout of the social marketing campaign with all of its partners based on the lessons learned from the pilot campaign.
