
With the technical assistance of Sudokkho, Montage Training and Certification arranged a meeting between the industry employers and Montage management on 26 October 2016 at their training centre in Tongi.
The meeting ended with the signing of a MoU between RISDA Bangladesh and Montage Training and Certification (MTC) agreeing to recruit 200 house wiring electricians within a year from MTC. Mr Abdullah Al Mamun, vice principal of MTC and Mr Humayun Kabir, programme director of RISDA Bangladesh signed the MOU on behalf of their organistaions in the presence of Mr Fakrul Amin, principal of MTC and Mr Suresh Mahto, deputy team leader of Sudokkho along with Mr Belayet Hossain, the manager of PTP-led training and Mr Tareqe Aziz, project officer of Sudokkho.
This meeting between the employers and the training partners was initiated to help meet the demand of employing skilled workforce in the industry. In the meeting, the quality of training provided by the private training partners with the help of Sudokkho has been highlighted. Equally the industries need to participate in such trainings by providing training materials in-kind for a sustainable collaboration and support the PTPs by ensuring job placements for the graduate trainees.
